life drawing workshop
It's been a very long time since I've been to a life drawing class and lately, I've been thinking about getting back to it. Fortunately, I found the Sandy Hill Life Drawing Workshop and decided to enlisted a friend, who also likes to draw, to come as well. It was really fun. I hadn't touched Conté sticks in years. It was fun to re-familiarize myself with them. They are a little messy, but you can create really neat shading effects once you get used to them. I will definitely go back again and I hope to be able turn it into a recurring activity on my schedule. Life drawing classes are an excellent way to fine improve your overall drawings skills. Just look at the progress of artist David Smith (aka Napoleoman) on Deviant Art here.Very inspirational :)
